I enjoy university bathrooms. At least the one here in my hall is very cleanly. All the guys on the floor have this mutual respect for one another... *we have to be one of the tightest (by tight I mean groupwise) wings of any floor in this building.*
The other wings have already kinda trashed their bathrooms, but ours is sparkly. You make a mess, you clean it up, otherwise the whole wing knows who it was, and we'll make you. It's that simple. We all have respect... I think that's a lesson never taught this day anymore. Respect.
BTW... we have one stall dedicated strictly to shitting, just like at EK3's workplace!
it's GREAT! never any urine on the seat, and always plenty of TP!

i don't live on university campus, not many people do (proportionally) i guess a bathroom in college (uni accomodation) wouldn't be too bad since it is like a home environment where everyone knows each other and this is your place so if you trash it, you're living with/in it. i'm talking old, dank, dark, smelly, wooden doors that are just about to fall out style university toilets. ones you would walk to the next building to avoid using.
i don't like the idea of having seat warmers in public bathrooms. i will never warm to that idea (how ungodly was that pun!) for the home, maybe. yes, asian squat toilets. theoretically, it's supposed to be more hygenic because you're not in contact with the toilet bowl but then, it just stays there until there is a big communal flush were you get to witness (if you're fortunate enough) all the excrement from other stalls going past you in a flowing river of sewage. and you have to pay for toilet paper! and if you're going to the more historical places, make damnwell sure you go in advance! advice101 for that next asian trip. other than that, tis all swell!
